Getgoodgut guide

The hot-hot reboot.

I want to share my journey with my stomach issues that I've had. My hope is that my recipe for improvement can also help other sufferers.

I had a dangerous cough as baby that I was given penicillin for. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the penicillin and had to be taken to the hospital. I've been told as an adult that I nearly didn't make it.

I had sensitive skin as a child, but it wasn’t a major obstacle in my life. It was probably thanks to the countryside milk I drank as a child that helped prevent things from being worse. Thanks mom!

It was only in adulthood that I started having serious stomach problems. At twenty-three years old, burned out from stress, I began experiencing stomach cramps, and saliva would often rise in my mouth.

Today, after about nine years of battling food allergies, I can now eat any dish that i want again except for large amounts of gluten and sugar.

02

Purification

3 day water fasting.

Start of with a three day water fasting.
Anybody is capable!
Your skin will clear up from acne and rashes, not completely but a noticeable change for sure!

Get rid of old stuff from your home that you don't need meanwhile you are cleansing your gut.
Remove gluten from your home along with other sensitive foods and both warm and cold beverages like tea, chocolate, alcohol, sodas and coffee!

04

Diet

The gut reboot.

After cleansing the gut, we can begin the gut reboot phase, or you can start here if the water fasting was too difficult.

Make a dish using several spicy chilies, or buy multiple spicy vindaloo dishes from an Indian restaurant.

You will cry and that is good. Because it is not working good enough if its not spicy enough. You will need to burn the stomach for this process to work.

Aim for at least three days of crying hot dishes. Avoid gluten! Consume gluten free bread and drink milk to ease the pain if you really have too. But try to man up and avoid it!

Eat yogurt with a source of fiber for breakfast

05

Remove stress

The gut knows when you are stressed.

The gut knows when you are stressed.

It is hard in our modern lives to live stress-free. But there is a way to do it without becoming a yogi master.

I highly recommend a special device called the David Delight Pro, which helps you slow down mentally with Cranio-Electro Stimulation (CES).

I have tried it, and it basically mimics the effect of meditation. Twenty minutes every other day is enough to notice a significant difference.

06

Exercise

Your body needs it!

Personally, I can't run due to my left knee, and I'm not a fan of going to the gym either. I'd recommend crawl swimming instead. Nobody cares how you look while swimming, right? Plus, it's not too expensive with crawl swimming lessons and a yearly membership.

Replace bad, sedentary habits with a physical sport like bowling, which I find fun, for example.

Walking in nature is incredibly refreshing and requires little effort.
Trees are underrated and absorb stressful signals around us. Try resting your head against a thick tree and feel the ease in your brain.

07

Eat green colored

vegetables

Our body is made up of about seventy percent water.
We are like oceans.
Our gut has a pH level similar to that of water.
We experience problems with our body and skin when our gut's pH level is too acidic.

The restorative diet is all about eating alkaline and vegetarian foods.

Green salads with nuts and roasted seeds, along with milk and cheese.
You can also search for other alkaline recipes online.

Drink one glass of lemon water every morning.
Avoid acidic foods, gluten and sugar.

Supplements that have worked for me are chlorella powder and Novalucol (calcium/magnesium)
